The exclusive 21-sided inner rim design is not merely a visual innovation; it represents a superior structural reconstruction. By rethinking spoke configuration, the conventional 24 spokes commonly found on road wheelsets have been reduced to 21, combined with a 2:1 lacing pattern — 14 spokes on the drive side and 7 on the non-drive side — to improve left-right tension balance. This allows the wheelset to achieve extreme lightweight performance while maintaining excellent stiffness and durability.

VINTY PAi 𝝅 Flash Hub:
The hub body is cold-forged from high-strength 6061 aluminum alloy. The axle and ratchet are made from high-strength 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy. Internally, it features an innovative modular 36-tooth planetary ratchet system, providing immediate, smooth, and highly stable pedaling engagement.
Spoke Safety Locking System:
Full carbon fiber spokes are used. The drive side adopts a T-head through design to prevent twisting and pull-out, while the non-drive side (radial side) utilizes a dual-threaded connection design to ensure precise locking and excellent tensile performance.

Engineering Logic:
The 21-sided polygonal ridges act as vortex generators. As crosswinds encounter the rim, these precise edges trigger micro-turbulences within the boundary layer. This mechanism delays flow separation and helps the airflow “wrap” more effectively around the leeward side of the rim, significantly reducing lateral drag and enhancing handling stability.
Stress-Resistant Geometric Structure
The exclusively developed 21-sided inner rim geometry perfectly corresponds to the 21 spokes, effectively dispersing the localized stress borne by each individual spoke hole during wheel building and significantly reducing the risk of stress concentration.
The quasi-triangular cross-section substantially enhances the overall structural strength and safety of the entire rim without deliberately increasing weight, achieving an optimal balance between lightweight performance and durability.
In-Mold Angled Spoke Hole Technology
Unlike traditional mechanical drilling processes, the rim utilizes advanced in-mold angled spoke hole forming technology. The spoke holes and their precise angles are formed directly during the molding stage, ensuring perfect alignment between the spoke nipples and spokes.
This design fully preserves the structural continuity of the carbon fiber, effectively reducing internal stress within the material and significantly enhancing the overall fatigue resistance of the rim.

Aerospace-Grade Materials & Precision Craftsmanship
The VINTY in-house developed “PAi 𝝅 ” road center-lock disc hub features a hub body constructed from high-strength 6061 aluminum alloy. It undergoes 300-ton room-temperature cold forging, followed by full 5-axis CNC machining and a sandblasted anodized finish. The surface treatment has passed a 200°C high-temperature aging test for 4 hours without discoloration (simulating 3 years of aging under normal environmental conditions).
The axle, end caps, and the 500-ton cold-forged ratchet seat are all made from 7075 aerospace-grade high-strength aluminum alloy, ensuring an optimal balance of extreme lightweight performance and structural durability.
High-Efficiency Drive System
Internally, the hub utilizes a front 2 and rear 4 steel bearing configuration, paired with a 36-tooth integrated planetary ratchet system. This system achieves an ideal balance between high-performance power transfer and long-term durability, delivering smooth and immediate pedaling engagement while also simplifying routine maintenance
Innovative Wave Spring Structure
The internal mechanical driving force departs from conventional designs by incorporating an innovative wave spring. With superior elasticity and precise end-face flatness, the wave spring provides three or more support points, delivering uniform and stable rebound force to the planetary ratchet. This significantly enhances hub durability and operational stability.
Additionally, the pre-assembled integrated ratchet unit design effectively reduces the risk of ratchet slippage caused by riding-induced deformation and completely eliminates the common issue of small components scattering or being lost during disassembly and maintenance.

Spoke Alignment & Locking Mechanism
The wheelset adopts a 21-hole design with a 2:1 lacing pattern — 14 spokes on the drive side and 7 on the non-drive side. This configuration effectively balances left and right spoke tension after wheel building, significantly enhancing overall structural stability and long-term durability.
To address the differing load characteristics on each side, a differentiated locking strategy is employed. On the drive side, which is subjected to greater torque forces, a T-head through-axle design is utilized. During wheel building and tension adjustment, this design effectively prevents excessive spoke twist. Under high-impact riding loads, it significantly reduces the risk of spoke pull-out, providing a level of safety far superior to traditional slot-in hub designs.
On the non-drive side (radial side), a dual-threaded spoke connection structure is adopted. This design delivers excellent tensile strength while ensuring long-term, precise, and reliable connection between the spokes and the hub.
