Carbon Fiber Wheelset Warranty Policy
At VINTY, we are dedicated to letting riders focus on the ride itself and enjoy the full performance of our products with confidence. To protect your rights as a user, we provide a transparent warranty system and professional after-sales service, as outlined below.
1. Warranty Period & Coverage
Starting from the original date of purchase (invoice date), this product is covered by a two-year tiered warranty service:
| Year 1 | Free Repair Warranty | In the event of a functional failure that prevents normal use, VINTY will provide a one-time free repair or replacement to restore proper functionality. Free repair or replacement will no longer be offered after this period. |
| Year 2 | Half-Price Replacement Program | If a functional failure occurs and the product is determined to be irreparable, VINTY offers a brand-new wheelset replacement at 50% of the suggested retail price. Free repair or replacement is no longer available at this stage. |
| Year 3 and beyond | Paid Repair Service | All repair or replacement requests will be quoted as paid service based on the actual condition of the product. |
# Reasonable surface manufacturing imperfections, scratches, label wear, or natural fading that do not affect riding safety are not covered by this warranty.
2. Warranty Claim Process
To provide you with fast and standardized service, please follow the process below to file a warranty claim:
- Contact Channel: Please contact a VINTY authorized dealer or our official online customer service.
- Proof of Purchase: A copy of the purchase invoice or related proof from the point of sale must be provided.
- Shipping for Inspection: The wheelset must be sent to VINTY’s inspection center in Taiwan.
- Shipping Costs: Return shipping to the inspection center is to be covered by the consumer.
- Assessment Standard: The professional judgment of VINTY’s technical department shall be final.
- Warranty Handling: Once the claim is confirmed to meet the warranty conditions, a free or paid repair solution will be provided according to the applicable warranty stage. If replacement with a new product is required, items in stock will be shipped within 7–14 business days; if the product is on back order, the shipping time will be notified separately. Return shipping within Taiwan will be covered by VINTY; international shipping fees are not included in the warranty coverage.
3. Scope of Application & Notes
To ensure fairness of the warranty system and product safety, please note the following:
- Regional Limitation: This warranty policy applies only to consumers located in Taiwan. Warranty coverage is not valid in other countries or regions.
- Original Purchaser Only: Free warranty services do not apply to second-hand wheelsets; coverage is restricted exclusively to the original, first-hand purchaser.
- Normal Usage: This warranty applies solely to damages incurred under normal riding and usage conditions. All eligibility claims are subject to the final, professional assessment of the VINTY inspection center.
- Cosmetic Imperfections: Reasonable surface manufacturing imperfections, scratches, decal wear, or natural fading that do not compromise riding safety and functionality are excluded from free warranty or replacement services.
- Consumable Parts: Components subject to natural wear and tear (including but not limited to: bearings, brake pads, etc.) are covered under a limited 6-month warranty period.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are shared on a one-way basis: customers are responsible for all fees incurred when sending the product to VINTY, while VINTY will cover the return shipping costs to mainland Taiwan once the service is completed. (International shipping fees and import duties remain the sole responsibility of the customer).
- Refund Policy: If our fair use return policy is applied, refunds for the purchase price will be processed, excluding any shipping and customs fees.
- Removal of Accessories: Prior to returning the product, please restore it to its original factory condition. You must remove all non-original components, such as tires, inner tubes, rim tape, cassettes, quick-release skewers, and computer magnets. VINTY shall not be held liable for the loss or damage of any such items.
